About IWN
IWN (Independent World News) is an independent news site published by Association Lucarne Pro, a non-profit. It has no shareholders, no advertisers and no ads.
How it works
Every morning, for each edition, an AI system (Claude (Anthropic)) reads the news published by media outlets and official sources, picks the stories, cross-checks the facts and writes the articles.
Every article cites and links to its sources. No human reviews articles before publication: each article says so, and every confirmed error is corrected in public.
Our rules
- No claim without a source, and at least two independent sources per article.
- Opinions are attributed to the people who hold them, never presented as our own.
- No invented quotes: anything in quotation marks appears word for word in a source.
- No copying: original summaries that link back to the journalists’ work.
- No rumours, and no private individuals singled out.
- Confirmed errors are corrected and logged on the corrections page.
Editions
IWN publishes five editions: France (in French), the United States, the United Kingdom, India (in English) and China (in Chinese).
